Manahawkin Fuji72 Hibachi Sushi

We arrived at the restaurant a little after 1 o'clock on a Monday, so it was empty. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. The hibachi was excellent, but unfortunately my ginger ale was flat. Despite that, we would definitely be willing to give this place another try. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I accidentally overlooked the fact that the hibachi dinners included shrimp, not realizing I had a severe shellfish allergy. When my food arrived with shrimp on the plate, I informed my waitress of my allergy. She suggested I just eat around the shrimp, but upon further questioning, she confirmed the meat was indeed cooked with the shrimp. She said she would get the manager, who took 10 minutes to finally come over. The manager was unhelpful, telling me I would be charged for wasting food if I didn't want to eat it. Eventually, they agreed to make me a child's plate cooked separately at no charge. I was shocked and uncomfortable with their lack of concern for my allergy. The staff should take allergies more seriously.

This restaurant is a blast! The chefs put on a little show while cooking, but it seems like they might be getting tired of it. It would be nice to see some variety, maybe with a woman in the mix. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The prices are fair. Overall, it's a great time. Bonus: you can bring your own wine or beer. Food: 5/5.

Had a very good overall experience. We had a group of 8 and ate at the hibachi cooking area. The show is fun to play along with, and our chef prepared our choices perfectly. Several of us had the filet mignon, and it was very tender. My wife thought the shrimp was also very good and had good size portions.Food: 5/5

Long wait despite having a reservation. Food gets a 4/5 rating from me, the service and performance from the chef was very entertaining. They were even honest in the end with the bill. They could have charged more than they did, but rather, they brought it to our attention and corrected it.
