Stafford House Of Pizza

Once you get past the chain smoking bar tender you’ll discover a less than quaint pizza place. Ordered a to go pizza and after 45 minutes of me sitting right in front of the “to go” station I approached and was handed my pizza “sorry, I forgot about you”. Pizza is edible but for a nearly $30 3 topping your money is better spent elsewhere. First and last time I visit Special mention to the bartender who was on her way out to smoke I think her 3rd or 4th cigarette as I was leaving. She overhead me say “45 minutes for a pizza” which she decided to reply “what did you wait…5 minutes? They were on lunch break”. ??‍

Needed an emergency last-minute gluten-free pizza fairly late on a Sunday. Stafford House Of Pizza seriously “delivered”! The folks that needed it said it was the best gluten free pizza they’ve had around here. I tried it too, and while I can consume gluten, this was just a really great pizza, gluten or not. Will be coming again! Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free crust available

This place seems very popular for pickup. We dined in, never having been here before, on a Sunday afternoon. One other couple was there while we were. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. We ordered fried pickles, chicken noodle soup, a triple decker roast beef sandwich, and a tuna melt. Not obvious choices at a pizza place, but they have an extensive menu. The fried pickles were dry good, a decent portion. My husband did not like the soup. The roast beef on his sandwich was odd looking. The slices were not deli slices, they looked uniform like they had come out of a can. He only ate 1/4 of the sandwich. My tuna melt consisted of cold tuna and cold cheese on marble rye toast. Someone obviously doesn’t understand the concept of a tuna melt. Before leaving we both visited the rest rooms I’ve been in highway gas station rest rooms that smelled better. There was a dead fly on the floor of the ladies room, and I’m pretty sure it died from the smell.

Very good pizza with tender crust and fresh veggies. Yum!
