Been coming here for about 6 months. It's kind of hidden in an easy to miss plaza shared with a Sam's Pizza and Stafford wings. It is more market than restaurant but let me tell you, by far the best and most authentic Mexican food in Stafford. Hailing from California, I have been searching for a place like this for as long as I've been here, almost 6 years. Do yourself a favor, swing by, get you some tacos or a burrito, or third carne asada plate and then, keep coming back. Need to keep this place here locally.
Brings me back to my roots in el Salvador. They have a great selection of central american products. Only place in Stafford like this. You can compare to a smaller version of mega mart or todos market. It is a butcher shop as well. Only thing I would suggest is renovations? Not really an inviting atmosphere to eat it . They do have a a dining section in the back and the food is good portions and delicious. I've had pupusas, tacos and soups.
Best Pupusas and tacos in town. Definitely a must whenever in Stafford! Friendly Staff and the owner is so sweet. She will go above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience.
Chicas was sold, it's now Gloria Luz. Food was ok, not worth going o out of your way for. I ordered stuff recommended from Chicas menu. Carna Asada Tacos we're ok, meat tasted less than fresh. Quesadilla was nothing special. Maybe other menu items are better? I'll never find out.
