This place is a real secret tip!!! We discovered it during a hike through the Saxon Switzerland and, as hunger fell, we immediately returned. The small farm in front of the restaurant is lovingly decorated and invites you to enjoy outdoors in the summer months. We also took place here and were immediately received by the head of the house a real original! We immediately had the impression that we landed at the marine Udo Lindenberg of gastronomy are great and super-symphatic!!! The food was quickly chosen, was absolutely freshly prepared and was really oberlecker! Mmmmmhh A special culinary highlight were the homemade buttermilk egg cake (especially for the female part of our dim). Since we had enjoyed it so well, we immediately took advantage of the hospitality on the way back and also got to know the small but cosy interior of the restaurant. The well-being factor is very high but the cuisine is even higher! Immediately behind the vault is the functional kitchen and you can hold the board for the chef/cook practically during carving. Everything was again extremely delicious and the one or the other anecdote was also given for the best. By the way: If necessary, you can rest your tired hiker bones in the family-run, connected pension. Conclusion: We will definitely come back and maybe we have luck and meet a famous regular guest of the house of Tom Paul.
What a great restaurant. And as different as usual. On the recommendation of our hotel owner, we spent a dinner in the whisperhouse during our holiday in Wehlen. It is recommended to preorder as the restaurant is very small and the owners usually only host between 12 and 15 people. In the whisperhouse you have the possibility to watch the owner when cooking. Everything is freshly prepared by him. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you can also get in touch with other guests quickly. We decided this evening for beef goulash with lumps and steak with mushrooms and roast potatoes. The food is excellently cooked. A visit to the whisperhouse is worthwhile.
Small restaurant, relatively small map, but you just need a main dish that fits. And, great, it has! Even in comparison to larger cities, the whisper claw does not have to hide. A boss who cooks and has fun. He lets his music run while cooking, and a nice crisp is also not cut off. We felt comfortable in town Wehlen definitely the best,
