King St. Take Out - St Stephen

I decided to give this restaurant a try since it seems to be a popular spot among locals. I ordered a homemade burger which was tasty. However, the onion rings were very greasy, leaving a puddle of grease in the container. The mozzarella sticks were overcooked. The server offered to redo the order before giving it to us. The service was friendly but slow. The atmosphere included a drunk man going in and out of the kitchen, staff arguing with their kids on the phone, and another person covered in grass clippings from mowing the lawn wandering into the kitchen. This was not what I expected in a food preparation area. Unfortunately, my wife and daughter got sick later that night. I wanted to support a local business, but this one needs better management and guidance.

I visited a charming small restaurant with friendly staff. I tried the poutine and fried fish, both of which were okay. The poutine was a nice introduction for my daughters to this classic Canadian dish. The fish was decent but not outstanding. The menu had a wide variety of options and it seemed to be popular among the locals.

A few years ago this was the best take out ever, then something happened, the fries went soggy the fish went from a good size to minuscule generally deterioration in quality. Will try once more and hope for better days.

Great poutine, the burgers are fresh meat and deliciousness on a bun! Always the same no matter who is cooking. Fills your tummy when you want a greasy feed! Yum!

If you like traditional fish and chips you'll love the cute little take out stand. Friendly staff, quick service and great prices. Best to call ahead for take out orders when they first open for the season as the lines are huge!
