Contribuiți la feedbackI kinda feel sorry for this place. It used to be a decent Rochester quality Indian restaurant before the pandemic. It seems quite clear the business is struggling-which came first quality or customer base? Anyway, the buffet is now a lunch menu which would be ok like my favorite Indian restaurant’s gentleman’s lunch in Jaipur but…. We had the vegan and vegetarian thalis, supposedly a Southern Indian favorite but no sambar, no chutney. The pakora were clearly days old without an attempt to even heat them. The dishes were tasteless as well. I try to be positive and always give deference for vegan menus but I can’t be dishonest.
I just threw up so much 15 min after eating the Palek Paneer idk what is going on with their food but it made me so sick. And also it’s just really mediocre. Probably handled by poor hygiene people.
This place is dated and needs lots of revamp. If you request delivery , they don’t make the order till you get there. Fair warning.
No idea how this place is still in business. Service is either surly or non-existent, menu items are the highest price point possible, and the food is just sub-par. Gave them another chance during bad weather because they're close and in the neighborhood, but there's no other reason to spend top dollar on such **** poor food when there's actual Indian food from other restaurants that's worth the money.
Probably the best Indian food that I've found in the Rochester area. Unfortunately, I initially let the other negative Google reviews deter me from giving this place a try for quite some time, but I am very glad I gave it a try today. The Beef Makhani was very tender and the sauce was a perfect buttery blend and very well seasoned. The Basmati Rice Side was large and also seasoned very well. The only negative would be the Naan's very odd texture and lacking flavor, but the entrees made up for this. This will now be my new go to for Indian food in Rochester.
