Wawa - St. Petersburg

I ordered my food online without any issues. When I arrived at Wawa to pick up and pay for my order, I encountered some difficulties. The first cashier, a young black girl with very long fake eyelashes, rang me up and I paid with my card. However, when I went to pick up my items, the man informed me that the payment had not gone through. I went back to the counter where the manager explained that their system had crashed in the middle of my transaction. She said she voided my payment and asked me to pay again. Although I remained pleasant, I noticed that both transactions were processing in my account. I showed this to the cashier and the manager, but the manager insisted that she had voided the transaction. Feeling frustrated, I asked them to cancel my order. The black girl took the bag from me with an attitude. It turned out that the transaction had never been voided, and they had essentially taken my money without providing me with my order. The staff and customer service were terrible. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Wawa offers delicious coffee, tasty breakfast sandwiches, a wide selection of cold drinks and snacks, clean bathrooms, and friendly staff.

The staff at this restaurant is friendly and efficient. I am giving it 3 stars because there were obnoxious advertisements playing loudly while I was pumping gas. The PRIME energy drink ad was so loud that we couldn't even talk over it, and there was no way to turn it down or mute it. It was so disruptive that I felt compelled to write about it here, in the hopes that a WAWA manager will see it and address this issue. It felt like harassment while simply trying to pump gas.

I have had a few bad experiences with employees here at the register but most of the employees are very friendly and make up for the bad experiences I have had. The food is consistently good ?

Go in at 7pm to begin a 12 hour guard job and there's NO COFFEE IN THE WHOLE PLACE!!..Great job WaWa
