Dead Bob's - St. Petersburg

Had “hook and coo”k after a recommendation of dead bobs. we would never have found this amazing little secret alone. great staff, quick service and loved how our fish was prepared for us. they would highly recommend if they would like to dine at a local hideaway.

This place is great. 10/10 recommend. we have tuna sashimi, peel and eat garnel and mrs bobs snapper plate. very fresh and delicious. the **** marys are a fav. if they order the kitchen man for 8$ (they earn it) and the girls at the bar would love a wodka or tequila shot. can not wait to come back and try hook and cook (bring their fresh caught fish and they will cook it as they want) waterfront is right down on the road.

I was looking for good food at a good price and a nice place to relax and have a couple of beers after work. Let me tell you…it was better than I thought. I ordered the pork wings with the garlic Parmesan sauce and my friend ordered the fish and chips and it was absolutely delicious! I ended up eating all his fish and chips and he loved the pork rings and ate them all hahaha We decided from now on this will be our meeting place. By the way great service! We sat at the bar and everyone of them was super attentive and really nice.

The service was excellent and the bar food was amazing. Small bar and grill which is mostly busy during weekends but still the servers were helpful in accommodating our group of 6. They didn’t have beer on drafts and only bottle and canned beers were available. Almost whatever we ordered was good and tasty . Chicken kebab was my favorite

BEWARE! 5 stars for the kitchen! 1 for the service. I stopped in for lunch and a couple of beers. After 45 minutes I used the restroom for a minute and came back and my seat was given away when there was clearly a full beer right in front of my seat. The 2 women who my seat was given to acted annoyed that I was in their space for reaching over and sliding my beer over. Would've moved if someone had asked but nobody asked. Mentioned it to one of the bartenders and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. Not sure if this is the normal here but I won't be coming back. Don't go here if you are by yourself looking for a quick bite or you'll probably have to play musical chairs if you have to use the bathroom. Good riddance!
