Contribuiți la feedbackI used to enjoy the unique oriental atmosphere of this restaurant. The main menu offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, which are wide and delicious. However, they also have a fish menu, so it is not exclusively vegan. Additionally, they offer shisha for those who enjoy it, but if you do not smoke, this may not be the best place for you.
We dined at this restaurant twice. The first time we were the first customers after opening and our salads arrived quickly, though they were small. The service was acceptable. During our second visit in the afternoon, we ordered an Indian-style plate (which was made vegan upon request) and pasta. The food was decent but simple and pricey. None of the staff spoke English, making it challenging to order. My dish arrived well before my companion's, causing me to start eating before they did. Typically, all dishes should be served at the same time for the whole table. This was a major drawback. However, the place would be better suited for those looking to just enjoy a cup of tea.
The vegan food options were plentiful and the staff were accommodating in making dishes without dairy for those who preferred. Although the menu was not entirely in English, there were plenty of photos to help customers make their selections. The staff were able to communicate in English proficiently, making it easy to order exactly what you desired.
The place, like the other cafes with the same owners (Kashmir in Bolshaya Moskovskaya St. and Grand Cafe in Rubinshteyna St. , is very cute in its design, and offers pleasant service and nice food. The menu was slightly confusing, but vegan versions of meals turned out to be easy to negotiate. The miso soup was reportedly good. Kharcho, traditional Georgian soup, was a bit less spicy and thick then I'm used to, but the walnuts were well noticeable therein (a bit of walnut shell, alas, made an appearance . I'd say that Indian-style bread with potato filling was the best part, also thanks to very nice sauce. The beer was of Belgian cherry variety, nothing wrong with that either. This place has a unique oriental atmosphere and I liked it before. the main menu is vegetarian (or vegan) and wide (and tasty) but they have another fish menu, so it is not a vegan place. If you like hookah, you can smoke it there, but if you don't smoke, it's not a good place for you.
