The Violet Stone - St Petersburg

Everything Ive had from The Violet Stone has been fantastic. Ive had their pizzas several times and loved each one, but their sandwiches recently blew me away. Their Chicken Parm sandwich reminds me of something Id get from an Italian deli. Loaded with cutlets, amazing sauce, and cheese. Youll definitely love it. The Chickie Vodkie is almost the same but instead uses a killer vodka sauce. Could not recommend this place enough

This is the best pizza Ive had in Tampa Bay no contest. My credentials for this review are 34 years loving in Brooklyn, Philly, and Chicago. This pizza is the real deal. Very high quality ingredients and pizzas clearly made with love. The wood burning oven adds incredible flavor (and yes delicious char marks NO the pizza is NOT remotely burnt). I ordered once last week and was so blown away I thought it might be a fluke. Had friends over last night (all from the northeast) and ordered again. We all agreed it was as good as pizza gets and much better than anything we ever had locally. Try this pizza youll be glad you did.

First time trying and its pretty good! The pizza could use some more sauce but it tasted great and had nice crisp, plus I love the small cup pepperonis. The sub tasted great but I was expecting more cheese, theres barely any on it and when I get a parm sub I want lots of gooey cheese. Also cutting the chicken would have been a plus too but again it tasted good so its okay. Will be ordering again!
