The Floribbean - St Petersburg

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a strong smell of manure, likely coming from the potted plants. It was quite overwhelming! We were expecting the enticing aroma of delicious food, but instead, we were hit with that potent odor, which was quite embarrassing since we had invited friends to join us. Nevertheless, we decided to order, as it appeared to offer the best gluten-free and dairy-free options. Unfortunately, the food turned out to be excessively salty, and we encountered more additional charges than we had anticipated. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially considering all the positive reviews we had read beforehand.

The braised beef is exactly as promised—it practically falls apart. The coconut rice is packed with incredible flavor, and both the salsa and guacamole are wonderfully fresh. I would give it a perfect 10/10 and will definitely return!

What an experience! The restaurant has a cool and unique vibe as soon as you see it. The staff were friendly and took the time to answer all my questions, despite the lunch rush. I opted for the Yard Bird, which came with paprika chicken, plantains, black beans, and brown rice—a definite plus for me. The aioli sauce that accompanied the dish is an absolute must; next time, I’m definitely going to ask for extra! This place is a real winner. Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

I have a feeling everything is delicious here. Tried the Thai-Rican which included a spicy peanut sauce on the side. Didn?t even need to add it! The dish was good all on its own. A nice, chill environment and equally nice server/cashier. Would eeeasily return!!

Very good! Usually Caribbean cuisine doesn't accommodate vegetarians but this place has lots of options. I got a bowl with coconut rice, guacamole, mango quinoa, plantains, and a lime sour cream sauce and it was delicious. It's quick, too, since the food is already out and the friendly staff easily puts it all together.
