Cafe Cibo - St Petersburg

Went to this restaurant last night around 8:20pm with the 4 of my children, and they turned us around and said they were closed for the night, with no explanation didn't even offer take out at least! On Google and on their website it states they close at 9pm. This was very disappointing seeing how we were driving around looking for Italian food for 30 minutes to experience Italian food before we flew out the next morning.

I was not at all impressed with the taste of the food that was served. However the service and decor were excellent.

My clam sauce was out of a can. 6 people for a meal. I didn't hear one person say that their meal was great, delicious, very good or anything positive, even just good. Very disappointed, the reviews on line were outstanding. That's the only outstanding thing here..... just the reviews. The pizza looked good. I definitely would try that.

Impeccable service from Fernando!! My first time at Cafe Cibo; it won't be my last. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in a beautiful interior Italian setting. They offer outdoor seating as well. Fresh made pasta There's a wide variety to choose from. Authentic Italian food, coffee, dessert, pizza even. The Italian Wedding soup was scrumptious. Bread was brought to us immediately. Our table enjoyed the Alfredo Pesto, Spaghetti Marinara; Pasta and Crab. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we couldn't have had better service!

Lots of good memories eating there with friends so i ordered the veggie sub.. it is huge enough for two -3 people but i could not eat it honestly. a mess upon delivery. i could truly not find the eggplant ... so messy when i cut it it imploded everywhere.. in the trash it went.
