El Agave - St. Peter

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant since it first opened in the old building, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. Tonight was particularly frustrating. First, our server was not attentive at all, despite the fact that the place wasn't busy. She came to our table only three times: to take our drink order, bring our food, and present the check. I ordered three additional entrees to take home, but when I got back, I discovered that I received a double order of just one of them. I spent 14 minutes on the phone trying to explain the situation to someone who would understand. I ended up repeating my story five times. In the end, I had a bill over $100, including a generous tip, but I’ve decided I won’t be returning.

Absolutely fantastic experience with swift service! It’s also quite budget-friendly! We both ordered entrees, and I had a drink, and the total was still under $50, even including a 22% tip! This place is definitely a wonderful addition to Saint Peter, especially since there aren’t many sit-down dining options that aren’t fast food. Service: Dine in, Meal type: Dinner.

This restaurant is exceptionally clean, with outstanding staff and quick service. The entrées and salsa are absolutely amazing! Make sure to add this spot to your list for fantastic Mexican cuisine! Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
