The Helm: Provisions Coastal Fare

We have been here a few times and each time the service is gradually getting worse. The food is great and the atmosphere is great, but the service. Our server on the last visit came to bring drinks and food and then came with the bill an hour later. It wasn't for lack of trying either.

Little bit of a ride for us, but the food makes it worthwhile. My favorite dish is the shrimp sandwitch. The she crab soup is thick and tasty and the drinks are great, although they could use a touch more alchohol. Open to 4 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday

Excellent meal start to finish. We went for Saturday brunch and it was so hard to choose what to eat! A few of us had the breakfast grilled cheese (plus bacon) which was excellent. The potato casserole on the side was so flavorful. One had salmon Benedict and she loved it. We had a few desserts so good I can’t pick a favorite. Coconut cream pie, strawberry cream pie, and apple cobbler. All excellent. Most importantly our server, Lindsey, was excellent. Attentive, great suggestions, so friendly. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Went here for my birthday brunch with my husband and two friends and every one of us was ecstatic about our food and drink choices. This was my second time here with the same amazing experience. They do everything well from the chicken and waffles, to seafood quiche to the amazing big and fresh salads. Don’t miss out on the cocktails either, we all tried very different selections and they were all fresh and delicious! The atmosphere here alone makes it an enjoyable experience as well, it makes you feel like you’re having a meal on a ship on vacation.
