On the walk or from the long run ski trail make a stop in the restaurant at the ski jumping hill in st. moritz. a nice atmosphere in the homely dining room and a friendly chefin welcome us warmly. the menu surprises with a rich selection of fine specialties from the veltlin and the puschlav. and this all too moderate. for us a real little trouvaille. and the name "ul cüsch" - "im nest" absolutely suitable for this cozy little bit.
After a small hike we wanted to lay a grid in the local, but were very unfriendly rejected by the chefin, despite several free and uncovered tables.
Here you can eat some of the most common dishes of Valtellina (northern Italy): sciatt, pizzoccheri and a delicious air dried beef(bresaola). Nothing pretentious: few seats, simple building but the perfect place to spend some time with friends.
5 minutes from the center of st. moritz, hidden in the middle of the wood, is this small wooden restaurant that offers a good home cooking. The menu varies from soup to lazzoccheri, from cut to excellent beef tartare.... and on request you can book the fondue or raclette. the environment is very cozy, ideal for cheerful dinners with friends.
