They serve breakfast all day which is my favorite things. The portions are HUGE and the food is great. Dining with three girlfriends, two of us had an omelet, two the patty melt but on sourdough. One with fries, the other with their homemade potato chips. I had a cheese omelet with their pancakes. I asked for two cheeses. This seemed to cause a conundrum as the cook came out to ask me if I was sure and then told me what my cheese choices were. Our server was brand new, as in it was her first day. This was in evidence when she couldn 't spell pancake and didn 't know if they had soup at two in the afternoon. She took our order and that is the last we saw of her. The three stars has to do with service. It was awful. We waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive. We were the only table in the place. I think it was because the chips had to be made right then. This is something if that was the case that should be told to the person order. Luckily we weren 't in a hurry but still. While we were waiting and waiting and waiting. A guy came in to leave a resume. The cook chased after him and decided to have an interview. Right then. Right there at the table right next to ours!?!? There was an office or at least a table away from ours that would have been more appropriate. Finally food comes and all was well. Two cheeses were present in my omelet, the patty melts had the right bread and the pancakes were not only huge, but there was two of them. They didn 't bring my side of gravy and after I had to get up and go yell into the kitchen for it it was cold. We ate. No one stopped by to ask us if it was okay bring ketchup, mustard, etc. After the interview, I turned to see that our waitress was sitting two tables away looking at her phone while the other cook/server was counting out tips. Really? So sad that no one seems to see the importance of what a server is service. Bringing the food to the table is not service. Sorry. My friends weren 't as irritated as I and left what I thought was a super generous tip for taking our order. Count yourself luckily new girl. I wouldn 't have left a thing.
