We found this place by accident and wow. The food is authentic and the atmosphere of the restaurant is outstanding. We have marked this place as a regular for us. We had the spicy ramen and red sauce and Hatsuka(pretty sure i spelled it wrong) chicken.
I'm living here temporarily from NYC, where I am spoiled by an abundance of authentic izayakya-type restaurants (Japanese food that isn't just sushi) and I was SO IMPRESSED with their takoyaki and Unagi Don dishes. Unfortunately, due to a food allergy, I couldn't try their okonymiyaki, but I bet it's amazing, too. If you're longing to break out of your comfort zone a little bit and try food from another culture, I cannot recommend Ramen Hana enough and I can't wait to go back!
Was looking for something hot on a chilly day and noticed this new place in Cedarpoint plaza. Should have known better than to order after walking in the door and being smacked in the face with a nasty smell. It's frankly hard to identify if the smell comes from the kitchen or if it's because the space has a mold problem or was closed for a long time. I don't eat meat or fried food and wanted ramen. Literally nothing on the ramen menu that indicates it is vegetarian or can be made that way. After asking the waiter pointed out a couple of options that could be made without chicken or pork broth. Should be more clear on the menu. The food just seems to have an aftertaste to it...or perhaps what I was told was made with non-pork/chicken broth was actually not true. Just nasty aftertaste. Menu should offer some dishes with actual vegetables in it.
Best ramen in town. Everything in the menu is great, chicken wings are great. Service is superb. Highly recommend. We go at least once a week.
