Heavy Riff Brewing Company - St. Louis

3 Stars at best.....6.4 ABV beer only served in a 12 ounce, with the comment from bartender that its the same as a pint....Really? I understand tulips for higher alcohol beer but 6.4 am in Utah or Missouri? Also, they didn't let me know that my side of chili would cost me $3 additional for what amounted to a tiny paper cup not a lot bigger than one you would put ketchup in at a fast food joint. Cool outdoor seating and a cool location, but these guys could do better. Brisket sandwich was dry and beer was good not great.

Heavy Riff has a great beer and food menu. Chill out on the covered patio. Great atmosphere.

I have loved Heavy Riff beer for years and wanted to love their location just as much. However, for a place called Heavy Riff, I was expecting heavy metal and a rock music vibe. Instead it was laid back music with a different feel than I was expecting.Food was wonderful, beer is amazing, and the staff was great.

Had a great time here. Really enjoyed all the beers, especially the brown ale. Food is fantastic. If I lived here I would be a regular.

Heavy Riff is an unsung hero of the Stl brewery scene. They have the best food (bbq) of any stl brewery and their beer is top notch with a wide variety of styles.
