Federhofer's Bakery - St. Louis

Picked up so many cakes here over the years I am always as impressed by how beautiful and delicious they are! But the birthday cakes they made for my son's 5 birthdays were crazy— Mario, Minions etc. Everything done to perfection taste amazing. Thank you.

If you are looking for the best bakery in St. Louis, don't look further than Federhofer's Bakery. With hours, the other area bakeries can not fit, you can treat the early morning you have eaten. Besides, you will not break the bank prices here, are cheaper than in the bakery sector of Schnucks. The quality of the goods is unbeatable. I had cakes, cakes, strudels, cookies and bread and they were all exceptional. Your pineapple cakes and raspberry amaretto cakes are for dying, and if you visit in autumn you do not want to miss out on their amazing Concord grape cake. I can only say, YUM! Super friendly staff! I needed a cake but want sure what I wanted except for flavor. My person, I should have asked her name but figured it would be in the receipt, it wasn't, sad face. Just Host 2A. She was really helpful with size and how many each would feed. Did I have candles? Instructions on how to keep the cake for the trip home. She was great. Lots of choices. I got out of there without extras by the skin of my teeth. So many things I could have added on! Everything looked so good. Cake will be consumed at a birthday celebration. And it will be grea!

I was put in charge of getting the cake for a baby shower. The theme was farm animals and we do not know the gender of the baby. I found some cake decorations and a picture of a cake that I thought was adorable. I went to Federhofer's and asked if they could make me a cake like the picture. They were happy to help and assured me they could do it. Well they knocked it out of the park! The cake turned out AMAZING and everyone at the shower was extremely impressed. The cake was so cute and tasted absolutely delicious. I would recommend Federhofer's to everyone! I have gone there for years and never had a bad experience. This was the first time I had them make a special occasion cake and I will never go anywhere else.

What the heck has happened to the poppy seed sliced bread? I have been coming here for over 40 years. Yesterday I stopped by to get some bread. I got home with my bread opened it up and what the heck the loaf is sooooo small now the slices dont even make a sandwich anymore. You now have to make yourself two sandwiches cause the bread has shrunk in size so much. Fedderhoffers you are losing business to Walmart and Schnucks cause their bread hasnt shrunk that much in size and their both cheaper. QUIT ROBBING YOUR LIFE LONG CUSTOMERS to make another dime. Make the bread the same ole size.
