Claypots Seafood and Wine Bar

Outstanding f00d and service. Prawns were juicy and flavourful. Fresh seaf00d overall. One of the best restaurants in Melbourne.

Dinnner here was our best meal during a week of many good meals. After seeing a photo of the octopus leg online, I knew I had to come here and, yes, it was tasty. Busy, noisy restaurant; casual, friendly staff; delicious food. 45 minute wait on a Saturday night spent waiting in the bar.

We have been here many times and always enjoy the food but on this occasion we were all very disappointed. A group booking, planned well in advance with a set per head price seemed a good idea until we were all left hungry. There was not enough of anything to feed the group and many of the dishes were not even enough for us all to have a taste. The service was also very poor.Then we got the bill. Somehow we were $100's short even though everyone had over paid the agreed price.Feeling ripped off. Never again!

Stopped in for a meal with business friends. The bar has a great Northwest USA coast feel and is quite charming. The restaurant side was fantastic and each dish we shared, you ordered as group, was beyond fantastic! We then went back to the bar where there was a small three mam band playing great music. Will visit in my next trip back to Melbourne for sure.

Staff was friendly. We went and picked our seafood for dinner. We had flat fish. It was excellent as well as the Singapore claypot. A little speedy but worth it for the taste of the food
