Pizza House - St. John's

Ok here's what has happened. Our Order on Doordash: 2 Large paneer butter masala 3 butter naan. When we ordered Large paneer butter masala last we week from store we got naans as well. We were informed by store team that we will get naan bread along with order. But this time we did not get. I called them immediately and asked them about missing naans Pizza house: Naans offering is available only if order is placed in store. Me: we have guests at home this is embarrassing. Can you deliver more if needed we will pay. Pizza house: No we don't have any deliveries Me: is there any other order lined up so that you could deliver it with them. Pizza house: No. I asked them to hold and was speaking to my friend about possibilities. While I was only expressing concerns. Surprisingly, they were discussing among themselves about me in Punjabi, the bottom line of their discussion was that I am getting hyper and their tone is terrible (How can store team even speak such rudely about customer with customer online) On the whole my experience is TERRIBLE PATHETIC Recommendations: 1. It is very much advisable for store team to have some soft skills training. 2. Train store team in basic customer service techniques

I ordered the Butter chicken and it was not great. I?m not convinced I was eating chicken, I?m thinking it was pork. Paid $25 for 6 large chunks (too big to fit in my mouth) and a sauce tasing similar to tomato soup out of a can. Not going back.

I placed a take-out order, and it was ready around the time they indicated. The portion sizes were generous. The butter chicken was quite tasty, with just the right amount of spice. The mango lassi was a bit thin and had some odd lumps of yogurt, but the flavor was enjoyable. As for the garlic naan, it wasn't very garlicky, but its texture and overall taste were good.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the student meal, chicken biryani, and it was incredibly dry and flavorless. I requested some curry or anything to help make it more palatable, but what they provided was so terrible that I couldn’t even take a bite. I also tried the Samosa Chaat, which was equally bad. I've never encountered such poor food in St. John's before. I definitely wouldn’t recommend going there, especially on a Sunday.

I went out for dinner and had a terrible experience. I ordered a samosa chat, which tasted stale and had a hint of dish soap, along with chole bhatura. The only thing that was decent was the bhatura. After taking our order, the staff seated us and then completely ignored us for about 25 minutes. Eventually, I had to get up and ask if they could at least bring us some water while we waited for our food. It took another 5 minutes for her to slowly make her way to our table with the water—such laziness! The dishes they used were filthy and poorly washed, and the overall cleanliness of the place was appalling. Finally, after waiting 40 minutes, our food arrived. It felt like this nightmare would never end. This restaurant is in desperate need of an upgrade.
