Olio Pizza - St. John's

We have been to Olio for the second time and we absolutely adore it! My husband ordered the chicken pesto and I had the Jessica.

This is hands down the best pizza I have ever had in Atlantic Canada. The restaurant has a very minimalistic decor, but it is a no-frills pizza place.

You will have better pizza in your life. You will have worse pizza in your life. This isn't the best pizza you will ever have. It's not even the best in the city. The best in the neighbourhood? Sure. Toppings were of good quality but lacking HARD in quantity. The taste of the dough does not improve as it cools. Pizza is very thin - not a bad thing - and didn't get soggy. Service was fairly fast, really friendly. The restaurant was clean but empty and the music was rather loud. Overall, this is a solid 5/10.

I love Olio Pizza, and not just because their custom pizzas a delicious, but because the staff are great and this business is pumping a bunch of positive energy into the community. Pop by for a slice!!
