New City Restaurant - St. John's

My cousins and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time. The professionals, the waitress was fantastic, the prices are great, and lots of food. Cons, chicken balls and soo type were mostly bread and a lot of them; the restaurant itself is extremely...dirty. Heaters are rusty. You must definitely invest money in the upkeep.

I often command New City. I've always found the food delicious and in abundance. Service is generally fast and efficient. The prices are indeed very reasonable. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a good meal of Chinese food!

We have been regular customers here for years, but have never eaten, have always taken out. I have always found it to be ready to give out when we are told it will be (sometimes before) and the service is always friendly. The portions are generous and the prices are good. I'm always happy with my meal... it's consistently delicious. I admit I don't branch, I have the same food every time, but I love it!

I've been here a lot. Great food. But today they have the wrong order, a rice is missing. It was said we were not charged. But we were. The young person who spoke the perfect English then acted as if she had not understood the mistake. Very poor customer service.

Ordered food for pickup they said it would be ready in 20 minutes. Ended up taking about 50. They were nice and gave me little something extra for my troubles. Food was good. Very large servings. Would definitely go there again...maybe tonight?
