Jade Garden Buffet - St. Johns

I have always enjoyed dining here; it’s one of the few places in St. John's that offers takeout. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience after being overcharged twice. When I called to address the issue for the second time, the owner argued with me and refused to listen. I regret to say that I won’t be returning, and I’ll be advising my colleagues not to order from here as well.

The food here is quite good for a buffet-style Chinese restaurant. I know of one place that offers better quality, but it's quite far away. The service is solid, around 8/10. Overall, it's worth a visit, although like many Chinese restaurants, it can be on the pricier side for the quality offered. The atmosphere is nice, and since it’s family-owned, most of the staff is Asian, which adds to the experience. There's also relaxing music playing in the background. Overall, I would rate it a 7.25/10. It’s definitely one of the best options in the St. John’s area.

I'm really disappointed to say that they've lost my business, and I will be advising my coworkers to avoid ordering takeout from there in the future.

It's a restaurant that offers a lot. I'm currently in Mexico, and the garden at Jade's Commune is very vibrant. I would love to know how to make coconut shrimp, as it's my favorite dish!
