The Pakenham Fox - St Edmundsbury

Spent a very relaxing couple of hours here today enjoying some Sunday afternoon drinks. Very impressive, spacious beer garden with plenty of rain cover and generous amount of room between tables. Lovely friendly atmosphere inside the pub too. Felt very reassured that safety measures were being taken seriously. Will definitely make a return visit. Thank you for a very pleasant afternoon.

Only visited for a couple of beers. very good to see they're adhering to social distance rules, very good ordering and collecting service set up even for empty glasses that I've not seen any other pub do. They even had a quirky but effective way to keep distancing rules for the toilets I wish some pubs I've been to had thought up. Nice ales and even a very rarely found mild in Suffolk that my Mum absolutely loved. Great service by the landlord and landlady who've had this pub for 4 years now and obviously doing a great job of it. I hope to visit again next time I'm in Packenham.
