Contribuiți la feedbackIndian food should never be prepared by an English chef unless they have extensive experience living and working in India. Unfortunately, our recent meal was extremely disappointing. The lamb madras lacked flavor and was a unappetizing grey color. The stuffed paratha was soggy and lukewarm, rather than flaky and hot as it should be. Furthermore, the portions were small and the prices were unreasonably high. If you are not concerned with authentic Indian cuisine, this restaurant may be suitable for you. However, for those who value true Indian flavors, this was by far the worst meal we have ever had. We believe in being honest in our reviews, and unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.
I recently enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast at the Greyhound. The service was excellent and the food was delightful. They also offer a wide variety of curries ranging from mild to hot. The staff was friendly and attentive. After dining there, you'll want to go back again and again.
I decided to give this restaurant a try after seeing some positive reviews, but unfortunately, I will not be returning. It is a basic, old-fashioned pub with somewhat unwelcoming bartenders. The atmosphere was just okay. My gin and tonic was fine, but the wine was not served at the correct temperature. One server was friendly, while the other was a bit quiet. The poppadoms were claggy and possibly undercooked or stale. The main dish was overcooked and bland, with a watery texture that made me wonder if it was cooked from frozen or had been in the freezer for too long. The side dish was decent. The rice and naan were bland. Overall, it was very overpriced. I would recommend trying a different restaurant. Maybe the beer selection is better.
Charming village pub with beautiful traditional interior. Brilliant curries and good local beer. Can't recommend more highly!
Excellent. Good food, well cooked. Great beer. What more do you need. Thank you for a great experience.
