Jersey Mike's Subs - St. Charles

What’s the story with the heat! Today 1/15/24. I planed to eat in but it was almost as cold inside as outside. I was forced to eat in my running car with the heat on like a ghetto rat. Even worse you had servers working in that cold all day? I should call the state labor policy standards! Other than that I was generally happy with the food and service.

The service was terrible. The young lady in the eyeglasses was upset we showed up. I asked for everything on my sandwich and she said she will only do it mikes way, if I want everything I will have to say one by one what I would like on my sandwich. She made the sandwich so carelessly, again upset that we showed up at 4pm on a Friday. This also threw off my plans because after my wife and I were going to dine inside, I had a an order for 60 giant sandwiches for the local robotics club that I sponsor on Saturday, September 2nd 2023. Sadly, because of the young lady's attitude, I am forced to go a different option which will now impede on my plans this evening. If this St Charles location doesn't need $1,000 order, I'll be glad to give it to another place who appreciates business. The gentleman in with the mustache was very polite when he rang us up at the register. STC location, this is not mikes way!

JM is the best fast food sandwich chain, for my money. As for this location, it’s great. Been coming here for years as I work nearby. Clean store, friendly staff, food is consistently good quality. One time they made my sandwich incorrectly and I didn’t notice until I sat down. Before I even got back up to the counter, an employee was jumping on making me a new sandwich as a free replacement. The manager even gave me a coupon for a free one, for the hassle. Absolutely above and beyond. I hope the staff is paid fairly here, because their service and quality is what keeps me coming back.

Amazing place and service. It was my birthday, but I didn't have the coupon from the news-letter sign up. They were still very kind and gave me a free sub! The young man also went out of his way to write a nice note on the packaging. Small things like this is enough to make people's days, and clearly, the workers here know this! ??

Fresh sliced deliciousness! I don't know why, but it was the best tasting sliced turkey I ever had!
