Westover Inn - St. Catharines

We went with friends of ours who had stayed there a number of years ago. The restaurant was nice looking however in relation to such Stratford restaurants as the Prune not in the same culinary league. Prices were high in relation to the quality of the food but service was good and attentive. Overall a decent place to eat but not spectacular given the prices.

We enjoyed vsiting Westover lunch for our last lunch in Canada. The food was excellent , including the smoked salmon and steak. Loved the terrace and enjoyed the large glasses of iced water. Enjoy

Atmosphere, Ambience, Service, impeccable. This is our second time in years, excellent as always. May stay overnight next time.

See my Inn review too. The prix fixe supper is included with the room - or the room can cst less with no included meals. The rack of lamb was a well prepared, generous serving exactly as I requested. The stuffed pasta with shrimp was superbe too. The chicken dish was another hit and the steak was generous, tasty and tender. (We were a large group) One can have soup or salad before and a desert is included as well as a sourbet (home made). We were all very impressed with the chef, the selection and the service. (And this in a large group) Wine selection is good - both by the glass, half litre or bottle - and a good beer selection. Tea selection quite good and nice coffee. Well worth it all in all.

Service is very Professional & friendly. Great care is taken to be sure you get the meal you ordered & that it is prepared properly for you. The Restaurant itself is clean & very inviting & is on a beautiful property. We both really enjoy our time at the Westover Inn & highly recommend it to others.
