The Chef Restaurant - St. Catharines

This is an old Pancake Restaurant that closed in 2016 and has re-opened under a new brand with some of the former staff. Bright and clean and my ONLY complaint was a ketchup dispenser delivered to my table with day old smearing on the cap. Need to keep an eye on this. Otherwise a refreshing place to eat and if it had a better location would be a tough competitor. Now serving breakfast and lunch and working toward dinner. Staff very friendly. Discount for breakfast if you are staying at the Comfort Inn the restaurant is attached to.

Good food and pleasant service ....clean and love the pot of coffee on table reasonable prices to and nice that its attached to anhotel

Was seated 15 mins before someone came over to the table. We ordered and waited for our drinks. About 10 mins later a different waitress came over and took our drink order for the second time. We were not impressed. That being said we thought the food was excellent and we'll priced. We will come back to try again because we enjoyed the food. Hopefully the service improves.

This gem is right beside and attached to the Comfort Inn on Dunlop Ave. Easy peasy to get to just off the QEW the food is the best and the service is great and the prices are just perfect. Very clean and cute inside I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great place for either breakfast or lunch!!

Waited to be seated, then told to sit anywhere but every table was dirty in the section we were directed to. Waitress did wipe off our table then returned with menus several minutes later. Waited for to come back. Watched 2 tables come in and be served coffee and orders taken and our waitress never came back. We left. Terrible.
