Fortune House - St Austell

We've been holidaying in St Austell for years, coming down from Buckshaw. Fortune House has been a firm family favourite. I don't care what the hygiene inspectors say, I've never had so much as an aggressive burp after eating here, let alone ecoli or whatnot. Raw chicken left on the floor, they said! Well, the sweet and sour chicken balls were outstanding: long live the floor marinade method I say. We'll be back next year

We ordered through a takeaway app, the food arrived on time and the delivery driver was lovely. The food was delicious, very hot, tasted fresh and the portion sizes were huge. This is the 3rd meal we have had from here and they have all been consistently good, very happy

I'm not entirely sure how to describe this experience, but it was hands down the best Chinese restaurant I've ever visited. The food hygiene rating of zero only adds to the unique atmosphere of the place. I encourage anyone to give it a try; you definitely won't regret it!

I’m so glad they’re open again! By far, the best Chinese delivery in St. Austell. Definitely worth ordering from!
