Tropicana Cuban Cafe - St Augustine

We came based on the positive reviews. We were staying in St Augustine and looking for the best Italian food. This restaurant came up and did not disappoint. We ordered the lasagna and chicken parm with angel hair pasta. Both were delicious. A great sauce. You won’t be disappointed.

Best meal I've had in ages! Chicken parm with angel hair pasta was incredible! Bright tomato sauce. My husband had the antipasti salad. Large chunks of provolone. Yum. We also ordered pistachio gelato. Creamy and delish.

@Sheridan. You can keep the whole restaurant to yourself. It 's horrible and yes, I 've eaten there, under duress more than a few times. I don 't live in a cave. I know good food and I 'm happy you don 't. 16 Mar, 2015 Ok. We were forced to eat here with a realtor friend and this is without a doubt the very last time we are eating here. Whenever you go to a restaurant three times or more and send your food back every single time because it is inedible, that 's not eating. That 's wasting time and money. Thankfully we have another choice just a few feet away and said our good byes to our company and had a great meal cooked right in front of us at 180. Save your time, your patience and your money. Don 't go to Casa Benedettos. It 's simply not good. If you want gluten free stay home and cook for yourself. 29 Dec, 2014 With three other restaurants serving Italian fare on Vilano Road I would tell you to drive past Puccini 's and Casa B and go directly to 180 Vilano Grille! Hands down, no doubt the best Italian food and much so much more. Even the decor supersedes the others attempts. Trust me.

It's Like Sunday Dinner at Grandma's!. Love this restaurant! I have been here a number of times, have always ordered a different dish and have always been delighted. The bread, the soup, the entree's, the desserts all fabulous. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. I cannot imagine the bad reviews came from anyone who really had a meal at Casa Benedetto's, but here's to them: stay away!! More for us!!
