Cap's On The Water - St Augustine

We came this past weekend for the first time. The atmosphere is awesome. You can't beat the view. We had to wait for our table but you can get drinks ordered while you wait on the pier. We ordered appetizers: raw oysters, corn ribs, and gator tail. All were amazing. The one thing I will say is that the corn ribs were very yummy but not worth the price point. As you can see from the photo, it's just about one large corn on the cob deconstructed.The restaurant had a mishap with a power outage so we never got to order our dinner so I can't speak on any meals. Disappointing but something out of their control so what can you do about it. We are about an hour away so I don't know if I'll be traveling back. If we do, then I can update my review on the meals.Large parking lot valet only.

Food was just okay. For the price I definitely expected a bit moreWe got the She crab soup and Tuna tartar app.The soup has broken so the texture was definitely off but you could tell the flavor was on the right track. The Tuna was very fresh tasting but lacked on the flavor... Needed some saltService was tough to give a one because most of the servers were hustling and looked to be doing very well. I had a fantastic dining experience at this stunning restaurant. The food was outstanding, and I must say that the baked oysters were truly the star of the show. I highly recommend them!

We made a spontaneous decision to go to Cap's due to a storm passing through our area. Despite the last-minute choice, we were impressed by the great atmosphere and friendly staff at Cap's. The food was incredibly delicious and we can't stop raving about it. The storm cleared up after dinner, allowing us to explore the beautiful outdoor dining and bar area. We hope to sit outside during our next visit. Cap's is definitely a must-try dining spot!

I gave it a two for atmosphere because we were seated inside a room that was humid and not a pleasant smell. I highly recommend waiting to be seated outside.The salmon was ok, not worth $34.The crab salad was very good but the wedges of bread were greasy and tasted stale.
