Uptown Scratch Kitchen - St. Augustine

We loved the food and the service at dinner so much we came back for lunch. You don't get it on your way, you get it as the cook intends. Also, this is not fast food, this is quality food to order freshly prepared. You work with DOS the beer, wine and coffee bar next door, so you can eat in the air conditioning. And on the other hand there is a pastry with cookies and chocolates. This small area was a trifecta of culinary delight!

Love this place! Not good food. Young lady who helped us was super friendly, and the food was plentiful and tasty. Seriously crazy. I hear your yes, but his food truck. Stop it and go. With the café next door there is a place to eat your food. (You're cool with it, just drink! Pic is red fish and chips, roasted chicken side order (at and Philly Cheese Steak (left).

If you are a foodie, or have any taste budds at all, this is a place you do NOT want to give up! My husband is a chef and I was also at the culinary school, and Uptown Scratch Kitchen was such a treat for both of us! Visit Orlando for a quick trip to St. Augustine for a "State-cation ", I'm so happy that every social media platform pointed us to this particular jewel! It was a rainy/chilly Monday when we went (right when they opened), the staff was very helpful and nice. We needed the order of the Peace Chicken and the Philly. WOW. The Philly cheese steak was the BEST we've ever had (and we just moved back from PA). It had so amazing aromas and the perfect meat-to-bread ratio! The flocks should also die. HIGHLY recommend! The fried chicken. If you are looking for the perfect, juicy, dark meat leg fried to PERFECTION....Don't look further! It was literally like butter. Perfect. This is also paired with her herbal fries and homemade BBQ sauce. For both articles, it costs $30., which could be pricy to some. But this is the price you have to pay my friend if you want food from scratch! Well worth every penny. For the owner of this gem. We can't wait to go back!

Wonderful lunch! The shrimp Tacos fish and chips were the best oh these rosemary bulks!

Thee best fish and grits (and shrimp lol) I've ever had and I am a very picky eater lol! I didn't ask what kind of fish it was and as soon as I took a bite I didn't even care! Sooooo good!! Thank you guys for excellent service!
