Prince Of Wales - St. Augustine

As locals in St. Augustine, we visit this pub regularly, more often than any other restaurant in town, and many locals and returning visitors do the same. Over plates of fish and chips, their delicious quiche special, and a pint or a glass of wine, many of us have formed friendships while sitting on the porch. A significant part of the pub's charm lies in the atmosphere, which was highlighted in a previous review. For those of us who have traveled to both countries, finding an authentic 'Irish pub' vibe is a rare gem, and we truly appreciate it at the Prince of Wales. This is the most enjoyable restaurant in town, consistently providing a fun, comfortable, and welcoming environment. It’s our go-to place for introducing both old and new friends, as well as out-of-town guests, knowing that Trish and the entire staff will ensure a delightful meal, a warm welcome, and a memorable experience.

Our family discovered this restaurant while exploring the area. A few of us are from Georgia, and we all absolutely loved the food and the staff! We will definitely be returning! P.S. We took home the leftovers and tried the fries cold – they still tasted amazing! That has never happened to us before! (Haha)

We wholeheartedly recommend The Prince of Wales restaurant. My family and I make it a priority to stop by whenever we're in the area, and we've consistently had a wonderful dining experience. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is delightful.

The best fish and chips! Nothing like a pint of Bass to go with fried food heaven! Great service and tucked away nicely downtown.

Highly Recommend this restaurant!! Make a point to visit and I promise you will have an excellent meal. My husband and I were visiting St Augustine and while walking off the touristy main path we spied The Prince of Wales and went in to try it out and so glad we did. Beer was cold and the Fish and Chips we both had was wonderful. I do also have to say that the staff was attentive and friendly. Great place and we'll be back soon to try something else. .
