Meehan's Irish Pub - St. Augustine

This place was recommended by a family member who visited here. We arrived in St. Augustine, just a few hours before a walk. We were sitting outside. Our server was pleasant and gave us recommendations. Our dinner consisted of two hot bowls of the house Clam Chowder, a common iceberg salad, corned beef and cabbage, and chicken curry. Everything was delicious, our service was fantastic, and the view was beautiful.

I've never seen food so good that I'll return within a week! Hands down the best Clam-khowder I ever had, and the smokey fish dive was so good. The second visit got Banger mash together with Dessert and again my mind became with how everything tasted so well. I made my trip to St Augustine the better!

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. The interior of the restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable with the menu. We ordered a dozen oysters and Clam Chowder for starters who were delicious and very fresh. I had the mussels in cedar that were perfectly prepared and the broth was delicious. Recommend the possibility to make the Linguine for a very filling food. The shepherd cakes and the Irish Cuban were very well prepared and presented. Large selection of Irish beer on tap and a good line of mixed drinks. Look forward to dinning again.

Had a wonderful lunch today. That was my second time to eat here and today even better than the first time. I had fried the catch of the day that Mahi mahi was on a sandwich. The fish was perfectly cooked and the bread was light and crispy. Had French fries as our appetizer and they were also very good.

We all thought it was great. Atmosphere was warm and cozy, the manager even turned on the fire place fir us. Server was happy and so helpful. Prices are reasonable . Food was delicious Children's Mac and cheese, Reuben, Burger and Cuban Reuben homemade ranch and the chips with parmesan cheese with spices. There is an ip stairs oster bar with patio. Also an outside patio with bar. Have fun and enjoy. B
