La Cocina International - St. Augustine

We dine here frequently, and the staff is professional and very friendly. The waiters are attentive but never intrusive. The food is consistently delicious and well-prepared. Overall, I have to say that this is my favorite restaurant on the beach in St. Augustine.

The dining experience was exceptional, with prices that were reasonable and service that was welcoming. We had a fantastic anniversary dinner, thank you!

I have been dining here regularly for a few years, but my last visit was disappointing. The salad was wilted and lacking in presentation. I tried reaching out to the owner with a private review, but received no response. After a few weeks, I decided to give the restaurant another chance, but the salad was even worse this time. The menu online has not been updated in months and has shrunk in size. My 8oz filet turned out to be only 5oz and was overly salty. The asparagus was nicely cooked, but too overpowering. The fingerling potatoes were reminiscent of marble, roasted but tough to chew. However, the staff was always friendly and attentive. We didn't express our disappointment to them as we didn't want to make them feel bad. The dessert was good, but clearly not homemade. The coffee was the highlight of the meal. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant until they make improvements.

I wanted to eat special, so I sent my order on the website by email to make sure that I could get it. carpaccio, filet mignon and lobster dick. my mom had the grouper and said it was very good. we share an salad that was delicious and a meal in itself. the carpaccio was a beautiful presentation and tasty. when I came out of the northeast, I was disappointed by the size of the lobster dick, but the filet was perfect and very well cooked in the taste and quality of the meat. I was happy with the experience. the cook was friendly and worried about the question how I enjoyed my meal. unusual to see a cook so worried about my meal.

Everything we had was excellent. Service outstanding. A little noisy as it filled up, but not uncomfortable.
