Donovan's Irish Pub - St. Augustine

Oh my! Where do I begin! All was outstanding. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was great! I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you like Irish food!

Not a bad little spot with good food and service. I will admit the shepherds pie wasn't as good as I hoped. It was a bit dry, but if could have been an off night for the cook, so would try it again.The Reuben sandwich was great! Really good flavor and perfect blend of dressing and sauerkraut.The only thing I personally didn't like was the bill had two values on it when presented to beCash price, or credit card price. Using a card was $1.50 more than cash price.If you're new to this place be aware of this. I get the idea that card holders are being hit with the 2-5% CC transaction fee, but when you see it at the end of your meal (if it was in the menu I honestly missed it) it's not a great impression.I'll go again but likely not a place I'll visit regularlyOne odd but funny quirk that no one knows why; they're prices we've with weird cent values: $18.07 or $12.74. Nothing wrong with it but when I asked about it, the staff had no idea if there was a meaning behind it, or if it's just what their value of that food is. Either way it was just funny to see she a conversation starter.

This is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Their seafood burgers are good as well as their salads. When I'm in town I make it a point to come here to eat lunch or dinner.

While the shepherd's pie tasted good, it was super heavy on the cheese and the potatoes felt barely there. Definitely disappointed in that, considering when we went a few years ago, it was the perfect mix.However, the Ruben egg rolls were delicious and right on point, as was the spicy mustard!Definitely miss the old menu, but I'm assuming it was significantly cut down due to staffing? So heads up the online one doesn't match the in person one by a long shot, but the food is still pretty alright!

I attended a private event last night at Donovan's Irish Pub, and I was very impressed with the food and the service. Our servers, Rachael Jareb, were very attentive and made sure all of our needs were met. The food came out quickly, and everything was delicious. A special thank you to the owners, Kristen Ethan for allowing us to host our meetings here. We are very appreciative :)Vegetarian options: I was very pleased to have the option to order a delicious veggie burger.
