Haven Inn - St Anthony

The menu displayed on the restaurant's website was not accurate to what was actually offered at the restaurant. The choices were limited and not what I desired to order. It is clear that they need to update their website as some items, such as the fish chowder and shrimp and scallop dinner, were not available. Additionally, the server appeared disinterested in their job.

Wife and I went here, expecting a nice meal on the basis of reviews. the dining room was bright and clean. with just a few tables due to the distancing requirements, we had a little waiting, but were in order with that. once sitting, was ordered immediately and polite. the meal of my wife (hot Turkish sandwich) came in an acceptable time. She said it was delicious. for the 15 minutes or so, while ate, my meal (deep fried cadry) never arrived. the server also did not pass to explain what was going on or to check for the meal of my wife. After a few minutes, I was happy to see just how long this could take. When my wife was done, I called the server and said I would cancel my order. then she went to the kitchen and a few minutes later came out with my order. no apologies or explanation. I turned it away and asked for our bill. then another server came by and asked if I wanted to go my meal without fee. I refused. if there was a mixture or a false communication in the order, I would have understood that I had been said and be in order. but enough time to go for a person to eat a meal without explanation or apology for the other meal was unacceptable.

Haven's Inn is a fantastic hotel with an excellent restaurant. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The rooms and bed linens are clean, which we were very pleased with. A big thumbs up to the restaurant staff, especially the chef, as the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning to St. Anthony and will not hesitate to stay at Haven's Inn again. We went to this restaurant for dinner and were pleased to see that all COVID-19 rules and precautions were being followed. I decided to try the cod tongues and blackened fish, but unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it - which I think is just a matter of personal taste. My partner ordered the daily special, which was a stuffed chicken breast with baked potato and vegetables. We shared the meal and found it to be delicious. The server was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant.

We ate 3 breakfasts and 1 dinner here. Our breakfasts were basic eggs and various meats but were cooked to our wishes. Dinner was satisfactory. Overall it was good value and consistent. Staff were friendly and the room is well appointed and looked newly upgraded....I would definitely recommend this place.
