Jjam Cafe - St. Albans

We attended for breakfast yesterday and the food was very good. I thought the prawn sandwich (which came on 1 slice of sour dough bread) was very expensive at £16

Delightful good service happy staff tasty food just one thought: maybe a more substantial meal available for Sunday lunch ?!?!

I love the JJam cafe. The food is divine, the house white is lovely as is the Rose, the one thing that would make this experience perfect would be better glassware. When you’re drinking £40 bottles of wine, it would taste so much better in a nice wine glass. But the standard stubby ones here ! The staff are amazing , the food is amazing, the live music is amazing!

The atmosphere is great, created by excellent lighting and the live music which was lovely. The concept of the food is also great but execution needs work. My pizza was tasty but cold and my wine was warm. Won't stop us going again.

Two of us were seated in an anti room for 4, so fairly quiet. There was no soup left, which is what we wanted so opted for a ham and cheese toastie which was nice but overpriced. No small bottles of sparkling water. Waitress was polite and pleasant. Probably won't revisit until the summer. The outside seating looked more inviting.
