Always a good atmosphere, friendly staff and the best pub garden in harpenden.

So a beautiful sound! I passed this pub at visit but never in there. what a tasty bite! a firm for the eyes, with Christmas balls above the deck. the place is quirky, cozy and comfortable. the staff was nice and friendly and the food delicious. we had the thunfish battle and the holumi Mediterranean veg wrap. both were beautifully presented, along with a cup of tea with the most enchanting turf tee cozy. 10/10, we're coming back!

Solid old school traditional public house uplifted to superb by the great landlady , landlord and their team. Available for private hire. Will provide catering if required. Supports local community with special lunch deals for retired folk. Splendid afternoon teas. Use it or lose it. Recommended
