Kfc - Spruce Grove

I wouldn't even give this place one star if there were an option for negative ten! What I had didn't even resemble a KFC recipe; it was disgusting and dry. The gravy tasted more like beef gravy than anything else. I really think KFC needs to improve their quality control, but it seems they don't care as long as they're collecting franchise fees! The online survey doesn't even work; it keeps saying it has expired! It looks like St. Albert and Spruce Grove are following the same path, substituting poor-quality food for the real thing!

After driving all the way home, I realized that the 3-piece meal I ordered for my mother didn't include the gravy I requested. I then had to make another 20-minute drive back, and I wasn't even in the mood to ask for compensation since my family's food was getting cold because they hadn't bothered to check that everything was included. It's just been one bad impression after another. I recommend skipping this location entirely. Your money would be better spent taking the 10-15 minutes to drive from Spruce to West Edmonton for something like Popeyes. This experience has really convinced me to start cooking my own chicken meals again. It's been nothing but disappointment, and I’ve decided I’m done with KFC.

The food is always prepared to a high standard. However, I frequently find myself being asked to wait in the parking lot when I use the drive-thru. This might be due to the plant-based burger, which could be causing the delays. On the bright side, the chicken is consistently cooked to perfection. I also hope their app and website would work more smoothly for online orders. As for vegetarian options, my son really loves the plant-based burger.

This was our first and final visit to this restaurant. We ordered 10 pieces of chicken, large fries, large gravy, and large coleslaw. The cashier even confirmed our order for the gravy, and we confirmed it. However, when we got home, we discovered there was no gravy. The chicken was burnt and greasy, and the fries were stale, cold, and hard. When I called to inquire about the missing gravy, the person on the line asked for our receipt, but we didn’t keep it. This seems to be a common problem. He then suggested we return to pick up the gravy, but that’s not happening. Save yourself the hassle and choose a different place where the food is actually decent. Unfortunately, there isn’t an option to give this restaurant a negative rating.

I experienced issues with their system being down. I had already paid online, but they wouldn’t give me my food, essentially taking my money! The staff blamed the online ordering system instead of apologizing and providing my order. I even had an email receipt to confirm my payment.
