Boston Pizza - Spruce Grove

We had great service at two different locations, but unfortunately, the restaurant itself did not meet our expectations. The food quality was lacking and felt quite cheap. In the first instance, the lasagna arrived in a square dish with very little sauce, minimal cheese mixed in, and no baked cheese on top. The waiter apologized and brought out extra sauce to make it somewhat acceptable. On both visits, the individual Boston royal and Hawaiian pizzas had sparse toppings, and we had to search hard for the cheese. It was disappointing and unfortunate – I won’t be returning. It seems that some of the founder's funding from Dragons’ Den should be directed towards improving the quality of the food. We are paying too much for what we received.

As long-time fans of BP, we've unfortunately been disappointed by this particular location on multiple occasions. During our dine-in visits, we've faced consistently poor food quality, missing ingredients, and dishes that just didn't taste fresh. The portion sizes vary greatly, and the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. We've also experienced long wait times and received below-average service, with minimal check-ins and frequent order errors. To make matters worse, we've noticed hygiene issues, including a noticeable number of flies buzzing around and landing on our food. Additionally, the fountain drinks are usually watered down. While we've heard plenty of excuses and apologies, they haven't changed our experience. We will not be returning to this location.

The service was satisfactory, and the food was, as always, delicious. However, we were placed in a corner booth, which I found quite uncomfortable and cramped. The atmosphere of this restaurant didn't match the lively vibe I typically enjoy at Boston Pizza. I'm not exactly sure why, but it just felt off. Perhaps the service lacked that cheerful warmth I usually appreciate.

I enjoyed a delightful dinner of ravioli, a far cry from the usual Chef Boyardee and cheese pizza. The server was exceptional—warm and approachable. It was a wonderful experience on a hot afternoon.

The staff are consistently outstanding and always greet you with a smile!
