Restaurant CLOSED was looking forward to some menudo but got inside the shop to see a large sign stating restaurant in closed : Off to next Mexican place, El Cerrito

Me and my family go there every weekend ???? really recommend this place ????

I did not eat at the restaurant, but I did order a ton of carnitas from this place, and I deduced two things: 1. These may be the greatest carnitas I ever had. 2. The price was really good. I have not been to their restaurant portion of the store, but based on the amazing-ness of their carnitas, I imagine they would be good too. Will be back.

I really enjoyed the pozole, the flavor was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for authentic Mexican food.

Here's the good: Food is actually pretty decent. Menudo is perfect Carne asada and barbacoa is excellent. Tacos, rice and beans all good. The floor tortillas however are garbage. Here's the reason I will not return after my 3rd visit: Worst servers I've ever had every single time I've come in. They all act so miserable to be here, no smiles or grace whatsoever. After they bring your food out they will sit at a table in the front and you will not get your drinks refreshed, or anything else you might need unless you get up and ask. It's horrible. After 3 similar experiences, I'm gonna miss the food but not enough to come back into this hostile environment. Duece's!
