Yuki Sushi - Springton Pointe Woods

I've been eating here for years, and it has consistently earned a 5-star rating in every aspect. It's the best place for sushi and sashimi in Newtown Square/Media. You can't go wrong with the tuna tartare, salmon lover roll, spicy tuna roll, volcano roll, or alaskan roll. Everything is always fresh, beautifully presented, and the service is excellent. My only critique is the wait time for our food; we had to wait about 30 minutes for our appetizers and an additional 45 minutes for our main courses. By the time we finished, we had spent a total of two hours there, which is a bit longer than I prefer. I typically aim to be in and out within an hour, or 1.5 hours at most. I hope this was just an isolated incident, as I would love to return for another meal. Overall, it's a lovely place. Food: 5, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 5.

We ordered one appetizer, three sushi rolls, and two udon dishes—nothing too extensive—but it took 45 minutes for the appetizer to arrive and another 45 minutes for the sushi and udon to follow. We ended up spending nearly two hours there, expecting to be seated and served in under an hour. It felt like the restaurant was prioritizing take-out orders (like UberEats and DoorDash) over their dine-in customers, which was frustrating. In terms of food, the sushi pieces were incredibly small—some of the tiniest I've encountered in a roll. The udon was quite tasty, so I’ll give them credit for that.
