El Trenecito - Springfield

Wow! These are the best tacos I've ever had! It's a small, unassuming spot in a less-than-ideal area, but I would gladly drive an hour in each direction just to eat here. This isn't Taco Bell; these are authentic Mexico City-style tacos, and they are absolutely fantastic!

TINY TACO TRAIN! The pico de gallo and guacamole are made fresh as you order. The green salsa is incredible. Everything on the menu is fantastic! We would call the owner "amigo" if he would allow it. We probably eat here about once a month. If it's raining, just go around back and sit inside.

The best Mexican spot in Eugene/Springfield! This small food cart is attached to a building and serves the most amazing tacos I've ever had in this area. The owner is fantastic and prepares the most authentic and delicious carnitas I’ve tasted.

My absolute favorite spot for satisfying my cravings for Mexican food!
