Sarku Japan - Springfield

Dining here is consistently enjoyable. This time, I ordered the Vegetable D’Lite, and the only improvement I could suggest would be to add more teriyaki sauce. The staff is very friendly, and the service is quick. From what I've observed, the place is always clean. The prices are quite reasonable too. Overall, I always have a wonderful experience at this restaurant.

I chose the teriyaki chicken because, according to their menu, it was the most popular option. To make sure I had enough food, I also ordered a side of six dumplings. Everything was prepared right in front of me, and within three minutes, I was on my way to find a table. It was quite busy today, and finding a spot was a bit of a challenge. Ultimately, I managed to enjoy half of the teriyaki chicken and three dumplings, and let me tell you—it was absolutely delicious!

The food was somewhat oily, but not excessively so. The chefs were quick in their preparation. However, I did notice that the sushi in the bento box seemed pre-made and warm. I was also disappointed that there was an extra charge for the fried rice—what kind of Asian restaurant does that?

I thought sarku was good. I love sarku, but this place was not good at all. the rice tasted undercooked, maybe not enough water when it was cooked. ordered two chicken teriyakis and one had significantly more portion than the other. total experience was quite unsatisfactory.
