Plaza Mexico - Springfield

This restaurant offers the best Mexican food in the area! The birria tacos are delicious, the Mexicano burrito, fajitas, and even the kid's pizza taste like they were made from scratch. The appetizers are also amazing. The service was excellent. You must check out this place - run to it now! Don't wait, go now!

The food was delicious, however, the large dining area we were seated in was quite chilly.

The food at this restaurant is simply amazing! They serve fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine that is delicious at all times of the day.

Attended Saturday night dance after the kitchen closes (10pm-1.30am). Safe place to dance. Security at the door and checking the crowd inside. 100-150 people while we were there.

Really enjoyed our first visit here! My GF had the Carne Asada and I tried the Chile Relleno. Both meals were very good, and we agreed the rice was better than anything in recent memory! I only wish my meal had been a little more spicy. But, we absolutely loved the atmosphere... a waitress was singing along with the wonderful South of the border music to herself, we could hear several employees towards the back telling funny stories to each other with lots of laughter! I mentioned to the waiter how good the rice was, and he replied I know, I like to take a box home with me! , and his enthusiasm made us both laugh! Overall, Plaza Mexico has an authentic vibe that seems to be missing from the majority of Tex-Mex restaurants here in Springfield; it 's not just the good food, it 's about making it a happy place to be, and we look forward to coming back!
