Our Hero Subs - Springfield

I’m giving this restaurant one star for both food and service. I mistakenly went to the wrong location after placing an order at the one on Plum St. The staff there informed me that I couldn’t get my sandwich because the owner doesn’t want to risk one sandwich being wasted. I almost suggested that I could just double my order, but she seemed unwilling to make my sandwich at all. I think this restaurant should consider adopting a policy to sell leftover sandwiches at a discount for walk-in customers. It would help reduce food waste, which was her main concern. I definitely won’t be returning to that wrong location. Overall, I give them three stars because the elderly lady was kind, funny, and appreciated my sense of humor—she deserves a raise!

The food was overpriced and below expectations. The sub was lacking in meat, which I found very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this place and won't be returning. Our meal cost around $50 for two people.

I was kicked out of the restaurant for not paying the dine-in fee, even though I offered to pay it. The experience was extremely disrespectful.

The best place on e main St for sub sandwich and fries or anything else you might like they have excellent soup salad combos hamburgers and fries chili cheese dogs jalapeno poppers onion rings so much stuff I can't name it all. Come give it a try.

Great place for a quick meal. Had a burger and it was surprisingly very good. The beef seemed like good quality, it was cooked perfectly and juicy but not too greasy. Sesame seed bun was like a cheap fast food bun, but it wasn't stale so I didn't really care. Toppings were fresh (lettuce and tomato), plenty of toppings on it too. Fries were decent. They were hot and not super greasy, and seemed like they were cooked right when we ordered. Young lady taking our order was pleasant. We aren't from around here, so it was our first time here and she was helpful and friendly. Prices are very reasonable for a good portion of food. This location was easy to find and had ample parking. They weren't busy since we were there mid-afternoon on a Monday, so it didn't take long to get the food. Parking: Could be a little cramped if they're busy, but overall not bad at all.
