Contribuiți la feedbackThis restaurant was like a much needed hug for me today. Allow me to explain it's cold, windy and raining, and I woke up this morning miserably sick. I sent my husband to pick up some wonton soup, and with the order they sent a complimentary order of hot and sour soup, and an extra bag of crispy wontons... A small (and very thoughtful) act of kindness that truly made such a huge impact on my day. Thank you so very much!
This place is wonderful! The food and service are amazing. The egg drop soup is easily the best I have ever tasted! Perfectly savory, moderately thickened, no added veggies with just the right amount of flavor. I wolfed it down too quickly to take a picture! The wonton soup is very delicious and mildly flavored. Perfect for me because I came in feeling quite nauseated. Because this was our first time, the waitress gave my husband and I some free wontons perfectly crunchy, with a pop of creamy filling and sweet sauce. My husband ordered moo shu pork. He was satisfied with the flavor, but said it was a bit dry without the added plum sauce. I ordered the broccoli dish with chicken and added veggies. The flavoring was mild and just right for an upset stomach. The veggies were perfectly cooked and flavorful. My only complaint is that the chicken was a bit fatty I’m quite picky about my meat, though. I’m grateful for the waitress here, who showed me such great compassion. It truly made my day. I came in a wheelchair and a neck brace. I have been through quite a bit recently with a major surgery. Our waitress did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable. She even held the door for us on the way out. Wheelchair accessibility: There was plenty of room for me to maneuver my wheelchair and the waitress was more than happy to make the adjustments I needed. Asian Grille is by far the best Chinese food in our area. The ingredients are all fresh and the chef prepares things with great attention to detail. This is not over-Americanized Chinese. In addition, the owner and his wife are so genuine and friendly. He remembers you, asks about the family and gives you a hug when you leave. Yes, the prices are a little more expensive, but the portions are big and the food is fantastic! There is a lot of very mediocre Chinese food in the area. Not this place. Truly a Northern Virginia hidden gem! We had the pan fried dumplings which were tasty. Then had pork lo mein, which was not too greasy like most are. We also experimented with the Pineapple Chicken, which was delicious!! Honestly, we have never had a disappointing meal here.
We just moved into the neighborhood and we were really excited about an asian restaurant so close with such great reviews We arrived with a very small rush. They really struggled with service, they apologized a lot but it was super slow. I would have 100% gotten over the service but the food is really bad. This restaurant is the MOST Americanized, tamed down, bland, and honestly just bad version of Asian food I've ever had and I used to live in a small town in Kentucky If you like traditional Asian food, don't do it. With the incredible variety of authentic Asian restaurant in tbe area, there is zero reason to dine here. Super disappointing and will not return. We had the Kung Pao and Garlic chicken, it was not good
