Beach House Bar & Grill Springfield

Food is good. Staff friendly. Nice atmosphere, it is nice to sit outside and watch the world go by. Can recommend the coffee too.

Having eaten here several times, I can confirm that they are neither good nor bad, but in fact quite average. Food has been ok, and wait staff have also been ok. Not a stand out but the lunch specials are cheap for what they are.

We visited there today for breakfast. Meals took forever to come out. I finished my coffee at least 1/2 hour before we got our breakfast. My husband couldn't have beetroot relish as they had run out, but the girl who served us said that she would get tomato relish. Meals arrived, eventually, no tomato relish, one of my eggs was uneatable. We are frequent visitors to this venue, but that is it now. We explored other options when we were there and that is where we will be going. Probably what was worse was the people in front of us still hadn't been served after we ate and were leaving. They seemed to mess up the orders and we got ours before them.

We were so excited to see some new restaurants opening at Orion and sadly can't say we've been impressed with the service and the food on our two visits to this location.First visit was not long after the restaurant opened so we kind of let them off for the poor service and mediocre food. My son said his steak sandwich was "ok" however the salt & pepper squid my husband got was very gooey with no salt & pepper flavour...in fact no flavour at all. The seafood had that distinct "old oil in the deep fryer" flavour too it and both us chose not to finish the meals. We did ask if we had been given the right squid (as there was a regular one on the menu) as it had no flavour but were assured it was the right meal. Waiter cleared our table and asked how everything was and we told them the squid was quite awful which is why we hadn't eaten it. Their answer was "sorry" and then they walked off.Second visit was for breakfast in August 2016 so we thought perhaps things may have improved. This was on EKKA show holiday so Orion was very busy with people who obviously work in Brisbane and had the day off. Foolishly they didn't cater for the extra clientele so were very busy. We were told there was a 45 minute wait for drinks (including orange juice which was poured out of a bottle) and meals would be longer. When our meals did arrive my avocado smash dish had cold sliced avocado on it, was missing the feta cheese (which the chef told me was "mashed" into the avocado even though the avocado wasn't even "mashed") and had no tomatoes as described on the menu. When I took it back to the counter I was told it would be another 30 minutes to get me another meal so instead I got a refund (as by this time hubby had already eaten his cold eggs) and got breakfast from McDonald's.I am not sure why everyone was so excited about this place opening at Orion. Very disappointed in not only the food but also the service on both occasions now and sadly won't be giving them a third chance.

Went here for Breakfast on my birthday in July. Had the most amazing eggs benny!!!! YUUUMMMMM!!! Really friendly staff, served beer in the morning haha!
